Third Party Fundraising Toolkit

This toolkit was designed to make planning your community fundraiser as easy as possible. From creating a timeline and a budget, to organizing and publicizing your event, it is a complete planning guide that will allow anyone to become a successful fundraiser for HelpCureHD. Are you ready to register to your event with HelpCureHD? 

 We ask that anyone hosting a third-party fundraiser to support HelpCureHD register the event with us. Please take a few minutes and complete this simple form.

A HelpCureHD staff will contact you within 72 hours of your submission.

FAQ

 

  • A third-party fundraising event is conducted by an individual, group, or organization in the community with proceeds to benefit HelpCureHD.

  • Individuals and organizations can host an independent fundraising event to support HelpCureHD. These can be grateful IVF grantees and families, civic organizations, churches, schools, businesses... anyone in the community can hold an event to support our mission.

  • Every dollar raised from third-party events will go toward programs and services provided to individuals impacted by HD. The organization’s operating expenses are generously covered by our founders.

  • Listed below are ways HelpCureHD can help with your fundraiser:

    • Provide limited consultation on fundraisers and events

    • Provide a letter of authorization to validate the authenticity of the event and its organizers

    • Provide and approve use of our logo, provided certain criteria are met

    • Coordinate check presentations, as appropriate

    • Celebrate your fundraising success on social media

    We are here to support you. However, there are some services we are unable to provide:

    • Our sales tax exemption number

    • Insurance or liability coverage

    • Mailing list of donors and/or vendors

    • HelpCureHD stationery

    • Funding or reimbursement of your expenses

    • Publicity (e.g. newspaper, radio, television)

    • Guaranteed attendance of HelpCureHD founders or staff
